Happy October!

I am absolutely in love with October and everything about it. I can't wait until I can decorate our house inside and out, get our halloween costumes, and make halloween crafts! I am Halloween obsessed. I picked up the above items from the Target dollar bin mid-September and I can't wait to go back and get more. Is anyone else fall victim to the dollar bins? Especially when they're filled with Halloween goodies? Dollar bins + Halloween goodies = must buy EVERYTHING! Thanks to Pinterest I have found our costumes that I can do myself! We're going as skeletons. I can't wait. CANNOT. WAIT! I've also found a ton of crafts that I'm going to be doing throughout the month.

I can't wait until Levi gets older and we can do more because we will be celebrating Halloween in some way every day in October! AHH!

Happy October, again, AND

Waiting for nothing

My poor car sitting all alone! Early afternoon my aunt and I drove back to my school to triple check everything, again, only to find nothing, again. After we walked through my whole campus we called AAA to get my car towed to the dealership so they could re-key it. The driver dropped me off in the front and I walked in and had my key made in minutes! I thought I was ready to leave so I could go home and spend time with the babe without any hassle, but when I went to my car it wouldn't start. AT ALL. So I went back in and they told me that the battery possibly died, but after we tried jumping it a few times I told the guy that I was told I might need a chip to get my car to work (even though I had no idea what I was talking about) and he told me to go back inside and talk to someone else. Someone eventually told me that I needed a programmable key, which they didn't give me... or tell me! It was going to cost $100.00 MORE than the key they already sold me... that doesn't even work! Don't even get me started on the $350.00 is cost to get a lock system on your key. Forget THAT! I will manually lock and unlock my car. But finally! I thought I was going to get my new key and leave, so I waited around another hour just so find out that no, they couldn't find the master key and I'd have to come back Tuesday afternoon. I already missed today's class, now I'm going to have to miss my first two classes on Tuesday too! And I have a Philosophy test :( AND a Math test, but I'm hoping my car will be ready by then! Fingers crossed.

I didn't even get to see the babe as much as I wanted to today because I was gone for 6 hours for nothing! But I did take this hilariously cute video of him. He loves to throw his baby blanket over his head and walk around. Starting off Halloween right! I love my little monster.

No big deal

I swear I'm always losing things and important things at that! Oh, my debit card? Gone. Oh, car keys? No big deal, I'll lose those somewhere at my school campus! After my last class got out I reached into my back pocket to get my car keys and they were MISSING. I must have retraced my steps 10 times while it was POURING rain trying to find them, went to every offices, and rechecked my backpack but no help from anyone or anything :( Talk about feeling ridiculously stupid... I didn't have anyone to pick me up because one car is in the shop and my car... well, yeah. I decided I'd try my luck and call Levi's dad enough though we haven't been on the best of terms lately and he said yes! I am super thankful especially since he was going to work at the skate park which was the complete opposite direction and out of the way.  So woo! It makes me happy to know he has my back even if things are weird. It felt like old times sitting in his car laughing, joking, talking... though he'd probably tell you different. haha I haven't seen that side of him in a long time.

But back to my huge bummer moment... I am now stuck with no car! That means no Halloween fun day on Saturday like I was planning. Oh well, I guess babe and I will kick off the best month ever with decorating for the best holiday ever!

When he dropped me off he could only see Levi for a little bit, boo! But Levi was happy to see his daddy. He went up to him and started calling him 'Dada' and smiled as big as he could. Melts my heart, I love my babe!

*SHAMELESS BRAGGING RN: BabyDaddy, yeah I call him BabyDaddy, BD for short hahaha, works at American Jewelry and Loan aka Hardcore Pawn on TruTV and I think it's the coolest thing ever!!!! Definitely jealous.

My baby isn't a baby anymore...

Every day that goes by I realize how different Levi is. All the time he is acting more like a little boy and less like a baby. His looks are constantly changing! I love watching him grow; his crazy little demanding self stomping around like he owns the place and sometimes I agree with him. But I can't help but miss his little face, little fingers and toes. And most definitely I miss him being a little less destructive! Sometimes I with I could go back to the beginning and slow motion our lives.

My baby is already 12 months - almost 13. Where has time gone? Where is my pause button!

Welcome!

Welcome to Lace & Floral; my little home on the internet. I've been wanting to start a blog for the longest time, but finally got around to it... months later! I'm a 20 year old single momma, student, designer, etc. My blog is a place for me to write down my daily life no matter how small they may be. Motherhood, school, crafts, fashion, & more. Our life is sometimes boring, sometimes dramatic, but always worth it.
